The Job:
A family run dairy farm is seeking a motivated Calf Rearer to join their team. You will be responsible for the care welfare and growth of calves from birth through to weaning. The role offers a supportive environment and clear opportunities for progression including the potential to lead the calf rearing team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Daily feeding care and monitoring of calves from birth to weaning
- Maintain high standards of hygiene welfare and biosecurity
- Identify and treat health issues promptly in line with farm protocols
- Assist with colostrum management housing hygiene and accurate record-keeping
- Support the team during calving periods and manage workload efficiently
- Communicate effectively with the wider farm team
- Contribute to improvements in calf rearing systems and performanceThe Company:

The Candidate:
- Previous livestock handling experience ideally with youngstock
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal welfare
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised proactive and positive attitude
- Dairy or calf-rearing experience desirable
- Interest in progressing to leadership or management roles
