Job Summary

A dynamic technology company is looking for an experienced OutSystems Tester / Aspiring Developer with strong analytical skills and a passion for software quality assurance to join their team in Centurion Gauteng.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented eager to grow into a development role and motivated to contribute to digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and execute test plans and test cases for OutSystems applications.
Perform manual and basic automated testing on web and mobile platforms.
Validate integrations with external systems and APIs.
Identify document and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers analysts and product owners to ensure test coverage.
Conduct regression testing during release cycles.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
Support development tasks as OutSystems skills develop.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Interest or exposure to OutSystems Service Studio or similar low-code platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA Azure DevOps).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification in Computer Science IT or Software Development (or relevant experience).
