Position: Head of IT

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Head of IT to lead our technology operations on-site in Miami. This position is ideal for a highly skilled IT leader who thrives in a fast-paced service-oriented environment and can balance strategic oversight with direct technical involvement.
The Head of IT will oversee daily IT operations manage a small team of IT professionals and ensure that internal systems and client-facing IT services run smoothly securely and efficiently. You will report directly to the executive team supporting decision-making and business continuity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the IT department ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are clearly defined and effectively executed.
Oversee infrastructure networks servers and security systems to maintain uptime scalability and data integrity.
Manage daily help desk and ticketing operations ensuring timely response and resolution of IT requests.
Coordinate on-site and remote technical support for internal staff and clients.
Collaborate with leadership to plan and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
Ensure all IT assets credentials and documentation are properly organized tracked and secured.
Review and optimize internal workflows to improve team efficiency and task delegation.
Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance productivity and service delivery.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures access control and disaster recovery protocols.
Communicate effectively with C-level executives regarding high-priority IT matters and ensure transparency in operations.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Engineering or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
8 years of experience in IT management or leadership roles.
Strong background in infrastructure management IT security cloud environments (Microsoft 365 Azure AWS) and server administration.
Demonstrated experience leading small teams and improving internal processes and documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick informed decisions under pressure.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Must be available to work on-site daily at our Miami office.

What We Need: -Proven experience in IT support help desk or technical assistance. (7 years) -Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and cloud-based tools. -Strong problem-solving and communication skills. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. -Proficiency in English (C1 level) Spanish is a plus! -Knowledge of basic networking cybersecurity and troubleshooting best practices.
