As a Locum NP/PA in Neonatology you will be part of a dedicated team focused on providing high-quality care to newborns. Your expertise will be vital in managing patient care collaborating with healthcare professionals and ensuring the best outcomes for infants and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neonates in a clinical setting
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare providers
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as necessary
- Educate families on newborn care and health issues
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and policies
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Experience in Neonatology or Pediatrics is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
Schedule: 9-hour day shifts or 16-hour night shifts specific dates
No call requirement
Setting: NICU
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
