Position Overview

We are seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operators to join a growing industrial team in Pittsburg KS. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining machinery in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires attention to detail mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and schedules.
Inspect running film and products for flaws defects or splices to maintain quality control.
Remove completed products from machines and prepare them for next-stage processing.
Clean machines and pumps according to established company standards.
Pull stock and materials from storage as needed to maintain production flow.
Accurately complete and maintain reports on production materials and maintenance.
Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards within the department.
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all safety policies.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent machine operating experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Ability to stand and walk for 10 hours per day.
Must be able to read speak and understand English.
Computer proficiency required for documentation and machine interface tasks.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Strong work ethic dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
