Job Summary

A well-established law firm in Asheville is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to focus on estate planning estate administration and related practice areas. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who wants to build a long-term career in a client-centered and supportive environment. While prior estate planning experience is strongly preferred the firm is willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on estate planning and administration including wills trusts and powers of attorney.
  • Draft review and finalize estate planning documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain strong attorneyclient relationships through clear and timely communication.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and professional staff to deliver high-quality efficient service.
  • Participate in networking and business development to strengthen the firms community presence.


Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active North Carolina Bar license (or eligibility).
  • Prior experience as a practicing attorney required.
  • Background in estate planning or administration strongly preferred; training available for motivated candidates.
  • Strong legal research drafting and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining professionalism and detail orientation.
