Welo Data is looking for a Italian Lyric Reviewer to help us train cutting-edge AI. This role is perfect for you if youre a linguistic expert who loves music and wants to help improve automated translation systems. Your work will directly impact how AI understands and translates song lyrics.
This is a review-only positionno translation or editing is required. Youll simply evaluate the quality and accuracy of machine-translated lyrics from English to Italian.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess machine-translated lyrics for meaning naturalness and contextual flow.
- Provide quality ratings based on predefined criteria.
- Identify and flag translation issues awkward phrasing or cultural missteps.
- Maintain a consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process.
Project Details
- Pay Rate: Approximately $11/hour for Learning Explicitness & $11.5/hour for Translation Quality
- Location: Remote work available to residents in many countries including Italy US Spain.
- Hours: Flexible schedule with an average of 4 hours per day.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Employment Type: Freelance

Qualifications
- Native-level or near-native proficiency in both English and Italian..
- A deep understanding of linguistic nuances idioms and cultural context in both languages.
- The ability to maintain focus and attention to detail when reviewing large volumes of content.
- Prior experience in translation localization or linguistic quality assessment is a plus.
- Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with various music genres and lyrical styles.
- Experience with online evaluation tools or platforms.
