Job Summary

The BEAUTIFUL Texas Health Clearfork Hospital

seeks to hire a Surgical Associate for their Surgery Department.

Work Location: 5400 Clearfork Main Street Fort Worth TX 76019.

Work Hours: Full time Days- 40 Hours/week 10:30 am - 7:00 pm Mon. - Fri.

Surgery Highlights:

Texas Health Clearfork is a 54-bed Orthopedic Center of Excellence facility that includes surgical and imaging services orthopedics and sports therapy adult care & beautiful views of the Trinity River. Texas Health Clearfork is considered a Tower of Texas Health Southwest which has been serving Tarrant County residents since 1987 has 1100 employees 120 volunteers and more than 600 physicians on its medical staff. The hospital is Magnet facility designated hospital by American Nurses Credentialing Center a designated UnitedHealth Premium Surgical Spine specialty center and has earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the AARC. What You Will Do

Completes routine stocking chores:

Restocks warmer with blankets and saline

Changes sharps containers

Stocks linen and bags for trash and linen as well as red bags

Stocks Expose II

Ensures two arm boards and safety strap available for case

Stocks and replaces suction liners

Stocks sterile towels in cores

Stocks masks and OR room gels and sanitizers

Empties soiled linen carts to linen chute

Assists in moving patients to and from the operating room suites.

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req

Experience
previous patient care experience Pref

Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req

Skills
Read write and speak English; Able to stand/walk for majority of hours of their work shift; Easily move heavy equipment & supplies ( up to 250 lbs on wheels) without endangering themselves or others.
