MRI Technologist
Location:Cleveland OH (Multiple locations throughout OH nearby Cleveland)
Shift:Day 58-hour (07:00 15:30)
Schedule:No call no weekends no holidays
Duration:1326 weeks (flexible contract length)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedMRI Technologistto join our radiology team. The technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures using advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient comfort safety and accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Position patients and coils properly for optimal imaging.
- Educate patients about procedures preparation and expectations.
- Review MRI safety questionnaires before patient entry into the scan room.
- Evaluate and verify image quality labeling and transmission to PACS.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the Radiology Information System (IDX).
- Ensure cleanliness of MRI rooms and equipment; manage linens and supplies.
- Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist physicians during procedures as required.
- Perform clerical duties when support staff are unavailable.
- Follow MRI safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in required training and maintain up-to-date certifications.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of1 yearsof MRI experience.
- Strong attention to image quality and patient care.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with RIS/PACS systems preferred.
Education & Certification
- Graduate of anAMA/JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Ohio State Licensein Diagnostic Radiology (required).
- ARRT Certificationin MRI (required).
- BLS Certification(required).

- No on-call weekend or holiday coverage.
- Flexible contract length:1326 week
