Products & Services Quality Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First-Line Products & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to support the Fabrication Quality Boeing Portland team onsite in Portland Oregon.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products services and processes comply with customer contract requirements engineering requirements company procedures and government regulations

• Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance

• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

• May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies

• Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners suppliers and direct reports

• Data analytical skills with Tableau or other business intelligence software

• Manages develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

• 5 years working with managing product definition data requirements processes or product data

• 5 years of experience with root cause corrective analysis

• 5 years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS)

• 5 years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review

• Willing to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime (primarily 1st shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering

• 3 years of experience in a factory environment

• 3 years of experience working with quality and/or manufacturing data systems

• 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word Excel PowerPoint)
