Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic teacher to join our community in a full-time leadership role. The position; Head of House Purton is an ongoing teaching role with a four-year fixed-term leadership appointment.

The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for approximately (140) students in Purton House and will lead a team of staff tutors in supporting and guiding students in their academic social and emotional development.

About You
You are an educator who brings genuine care and commitment to the wellbeing of students. With experience in delivering pastoral care you have been actively involved in a range of school life activities including sports sacramental programs liturgies camps and excursions.

You are recognised for your collaborative approach your integrity and your ability to build strong relationships grounded in respect and honesty.

Skills and Attributes

• Present a professional and positive demeanour and a solution orientated person
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and energetically within a dynamic organisation by being proactive demonstrating initiative and a willingness to accept responsibility
• Demonstrate a respect for and acceptance of difference in students parents and staff
• Well-developed decision making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to build rapport and communicate with students parents colleagues and the College community.
