VIRTUAL VISITS
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Primary Care
Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing virtual care team. As part of a large and supportive health system you will deliver high-quality comprehensive care to patients from the convenience of a remote setting. This is a 100% remote position with full administrative and clinical support.
Position Details:
Three 12-hour shifts per week managing a virtual patient panel
Conduct initial patient consultations virtually and verify insurance information
Order labs diagnostic tests and other procedures as clinically necessary
Book follow-up appointments with the clinic to ensure continuity of care
Epic EMR Documentation System

Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
NP Certification and TX license required
At least 1-3 years Nurse Practitioner experience required
Prior telehealth or virtual care experience is a plus
Ability to work independently while being an active member of a team
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.
Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
The NPs duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
