Essential Responsibilities

  • Complete required training curriculum for weld processes

  • Ability to obtain required weld certifications for GE

  • Complete all required compliance training

  • Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and or quality audit

  • Be an active contributing member of a high-performance self-directed work team

  • Ability to use / apply TIG welding and assembly techniques and inspections

  • Ability to read & understand process instructions & weld schedules

  • Communicate effectively with Production Control and Process Engineer(s) on needed supplies and consumable materials

  • Drive Safety Quality and Production metrics within the team business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Ability to pass eyesight acuity requirements and color vision perception test.

  • Welding certification from an accredited trade school or equivalent and/or a minimum of one year of welding experience

Eligibility Requirements

  • Flexibility to work off shifts and travel for training as needed.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.

  • Ability to read interpret and follow process planning part routers and other quality documents.

  • Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity as required

  • Complete required training curriculum for weld processes

  • Complete all required compliance training

  • Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and/or quality audit

  • Cross train on other direct labor operations as required per business need

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident U.S. Citizen have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e. a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
