Job Summary

The AV Field Engineer will be responsible for the on-site installation integration and commissioning of commercial audio-visual systems. This role requires hands-on technical expertise problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality system implementations for clients across corporate education government and entertainment environments.

Responsibilities:

Install configure and integrate professional AV systems including displays projectors video walls sound systems microphones and control systems (Crestron Extron AMX QSC Biamp etc.)
Read and interpret AV system drawings signal flow diagrams and architectural plans to ensure accurate installation and system performance
Pull terminate and test cabling for audio video control and network systems (Cat6 fiber speaker wire etc.)
Mount and secure AV components such as displays racks ceiling microphones cameras and loudspeakers in accordance with safety and quality standards
Perform system commissioning testing and troubleshooting to verify functionality and ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with project managers engineers and clients to identify and resolve technical issues during installation
Document system configurations test results and field modifications for project closeout packages
Provide on-site technical support training and guidance to junior installers and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with all company standards safety policies and manufacturer best practices
