Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Utica NY 13502
Facility Type: Long-Term Care & Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM (every other weekend required)
Hours/Week: 37.5
Pay Rate: $1650 per week (traveler)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected long-term care and skilled nursing facility in the Utica NY area. The LPN will provide compassionate patient-centered care to residents with chronic medical conditions dementia and other age-related needs within a supportive team environment.
Key Highlights
Unit Size: 40 beds
Patient Populations: Medical-surgical orthopedic dementia and memory care
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): PointClickCare
Schedule: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM every other weekend required
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Travelers only (must live 75 miles from the facility); local candidates also considered.
Requirements
Active LPN License in the state of New York
BLS Certification (AHA required)
Minimum 13 years of experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Commitment to maintaining resident dignity comfort and safety
