Job Summary
TriState Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Orthopedic clinic. This position will work either 4 - 10s or 5 - 8s both in the Orthopedic clinic and assisting in the OR.
We are seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Orthopedic department! We are seeking a candidate with previous OR experience. Located on the TriState Health Campus this fast paced clinic is committed to providing the best possible care to their patients using the most up-to-date information and state-of-the-art techniques. Providers must have the ability to work with a broad patient ideal candidate will bring and positive and caring attitude excellent communication skills and a passion for patient care and clinical experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Orthopedic clinic.
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients medical history.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments.
- Assist surgeons in the operating room and share on-call responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to provide high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Program.
- Active Washington State License.
