We are seeking a dynamic Director of Finance & Corporate Services to oversee the financial and corporate operations of our Burwood and Richmond hospital divisions in NSW.
In this pivotal role you will:
Lead the delivery of high-quality care and support services across both hospitals.
Drive financial performance and sustainability including budgeting benchmarking and negotiations with health funds.
Ensure compliance with accreditation certification legal and contractual obligations.
Contribute to strategic growth through business planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a collaborative consultative team culture aligned with our mission and values.
Working closely with the CEO and the senior leadership team this is a unique executive opportunity to shape the future of Mental Health Care delivery in NSW
The Position
Develop a strong culture of performance management performance improvement and stewardship.
Monitor productivity and performance on a daily weekly fortnightly and ongoing basis to ensure compliance with agreed budgeted measures and improvement plans.
Assist the Hospitals Executive team and CEO in understanding existing and future activity to assist in managing workforce and productivity.
Manage the Hospitals Finance and Corporate Services functions to ensure all strategies objectives and actions of the Divisional Operating Plan for the finance portfolio are implemented.
Review the Hospitals monthly financial results and ensure that the monthly financials are reported accurately to the CEO Executive team and in accordance with Group Finance accounting policy.
Prepare capital and operating budgets in consultation with the hospitals CEO that achieve the guidelines and targets set for the hospitals and ensuring appropriate communication and involvement of all Directors/Managers in the process.
Assume responsibility for the financial viability productivity occupancy and budget targets established for the hospitals and region that is consistent with SJGHC Governance and Management Authorities and provide reporting and analysis of the performance against targets each month.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in accounting and financial management with strong facilitation and negotiation skills. You will have demonstrated capability in a leadership role within a large complex organisation and a proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
Successful applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in Finance Commerce or Business and membership with CPA ICAA or an equivalent professional body.
