Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting operations maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and company policies while assisting with audits reconciliations and financial reporting.
This role is fully onsite in Norfolk VA
Salary: $/year
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger including journal entries and account analysis.
- Prepare and post monthly accruals adjustments and reclassifications.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Support payroll entries expense reports and other related accounting functions.
- Prepare financial reports balance sheets and income statements for management review.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation.
Requirements:
- 4 years accounting experience
- QuickBooks experience
$70000 - $80000 a year
