The People Rewards & Org Planning team is responsible for Grabs compensation and benefits framework planning our workforce compensation & benefits strategies and undertaking specific people-related projects including Merger & Acquisition and post-merger integration.
Workforce Planning sits under People Rewards & Org Planning. Our primary focus is to improve productivity and manage costs to ensure the sustainability and high performance of the company.
Get to Know the Role
Were looking for an Intern Workforce Planning to join our team and help ensure Grab has the right employees in the right roles to drive our business forward.
Our ideal intern is interested in using AI-assisted coding to build and implement web-based tools such as cost calculator and budget movements tracker. You will be instrumental in automating and scaling our workforce budget management process which will reduce manual errors enhance the user experience and optimize productivity for our People Operations Business Partners.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will be the primary developer for our internal web-based tools such as the staff cost calculator and budget movements tracker.
- You will use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. vibe coding with Cursor or models like Gemini and GPT) to code test and implement solutions.
- You will analyse existing workflows to build tools that successfully automate the budgeting process scale effectively and provide an excellent user experience.
- You will improve on your tools based on user feedback to ensure they solve primary challenges and integrate with existing processes.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all fields of study are welcome).
- A genuine curiosity and demonstrated experience with generative AI such as using AI-assisted tools (e.g. Cursor Gemini/GPT) to automate projects.
- A builder mindset; you are a strong independent learner and self-starter who is not afraid to experiment learn by doing and solve problems.
- A user-focused attitude motivated by the idea of building simple tools that make peoples work easier.
- Good communication skills with the ability to ask clarifying questions and listen to stakeholder feedback.
