Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design build configure and test SAP application configurations and parameterizations.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical support.
Analyze project needs and propose effective solutions.
Implement SAP system refreshes system/client copies exports/imports.
Install and configure SAP systems components and plug-ins.
Configure integrations (IDOC Web Services) interface monitoring.
Set up batch jobs housekeeping jobs backups/restores and high-availability setups.
Monitor and archive technical objects and temporary data.
Update technical components in line with support deadlines.
Configure Solution Manager for centralized SAP management.
Perform root cause analysis for technical and performance issues.
Initiate tracking and tracing for error resolution and improvements.
Support SAP Basis configuration and best practices in projects.
Document configuration changes and operational instructions.
Set up logging log management and operational monitoring.
Configure application monitoring for exceptions and technical alerts.
Train operators in operations monitoring troubleshooting and optimization.
Deploy new application versions and support project teams and users.
Report on work progress document and report events.
Participate in and execute operational testing of applications and integrations.
Provide technical administration and maintenance throughout the application lifecycle.
Participate in 2nd line support for IT event & incident management.
Support IT problem management and change assessment processes.
Stay updated on SAP technology standards developments and innovations.
Share knowledge and experience openly with colleagues.

Qualifications :

Required Skills & Qualifications

Fluent in one of the national languages (Dutch or French) with passive knowledge of the other (minimum B1).
Good level of English.
Proven experience in SAP Roles and Authorizations management (minimum 5 years medior level).
Proven experience in SAP Basis Administration (minimum 5 years medior level).

Preferred Skills

Higher degree (Bachelor or Master).
Knowledge of SAP HANA databases.
Minimum ITIL V3 Foundation certification (V4 preferred).
