As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Annandale Brazier Drive youll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role you will:

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Directors absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

Our 75-place centre features five large light-filled rooms each with its own playground shady gardens and plenty of room to explore. Were conveniently located close to local schools shops the Lavarack Barracks and James Cook University making us a well-connected hub for families in the community.

As Assistant Director youll work full-time (Monday to Friday 6:30am 6:30pm) supporting the Centre Director and leading by example to deliver high-quality early learning experiences.

Supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring smooth centre performance
Guiding and mentoring educators to deliver engaging play-based programs
Building trusted relationships with families children and the wider community
Assisting with compliance rostering and quality improvement planning
Upholding the National Quality Framework and ACECQA standards of excellence
