Responsibilities:

Mercer Universitys College of Nursing invites applications for a full-time 12-month non-tenure track lecturer position. Candidates with expertise in the areas of Adult Health Mental Health Womens Health or Pediatrics are sought to teach our highly qualified student body. Teaching responsibilities will be exclusively in the second degree accelerated BSN program with a percentage of time allocated for service. The successful candidate will have on-campus faculty responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Masters in nursing from an accredited university/college

• Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia

• A minimum of two years full-time academic experience (five years preferred)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Philosophy commensurate with Mercer Universitys mission and values

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience in the online academic environment

• Practice experience in the specialty areas of psychiatric mental health and/or womens health

• Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards
