Software Engineering Intern 2026

Role/Programme:

As a Software Engineering Intern youll join our Engineering team in the summer. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career and make a meaningful impact. You will be joining us for 10 weeks in the summer (22nd June - 28th August 2026).Youll be onboarded with the global internship cohort in one of our offices and learn the basics of being a Wiser.

How youll make an impact: in this role you will:

• Create clear consistent and high-performing interfaces
• Understand and solve customer challenges

Growth and Development:

• Intern Insight sessions: These will be short intro presentations from various representatives of different business areas of Wise to make sure you have a chance to get to know as many teams and functions at Wise as possible

Qualifications :

What Youll Bring:

• You are graduating in 2027 with a Bachelors or Masters degree potentially in Computer Science or any other STEM subject. However a degree in a technical field is not a must as our selection process prioritises your skills.

• Able to commit to a 10 week internship from the 22nd of June 2026 until the 28th of August 2026

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals and any major programming languages (Java/JavaScript/Python/Kotlin/Swift)

• Ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences

• Commitment to best coding practices and code reviews

• Basic knowledge of modern web technologies and a strong interest in web development

• Eligible to work in the UK as an intern without any sponsorship - please note that for this role we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.

Additional Information :

You will have flexibility in how and where you work. We understand everyone needs a little something different - so well do our best to make it happen but we recommend coming to the office as much as possible in your first months!

Salary of gross 37600 Annual
