Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required. Work Experience: 0-2 years of modality specific experience. Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the NMTCB or Registered Technologist (RT (N)) from ARRT or registry eligible with a B.S. or B.A. preferred. If registry eligible must obtain certification within 12 months. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
