Business Development Representative (BDR)


FRSecures entry-level sales opportunity is our Business Development Representative (BDR) role. Our BDRs are responsible for generating leads to the Sales team through various channels. BDRs communicate the value and importance of information security to uncover any wants needs or problems prospects may be facing and provide them with resources.


Growth in this role includes expansion of skills and responsibilities as well as promotional opportunities into (Associate) Account Executive Key Account Managers and Senior-level roles. You can kickstart your sales career by working alongside top sales professionals cybersecurity gurus and a team that has your back. This team has the best brightest and infinitely genuine group of people.


Working Location: Our BDRs work on a full-time hybrid basis in Edina MN. The schedule on a weekly basis is 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. Flexibility in working remotely becomes available with progression into advanced roles on the team. Only candidates located in the United States will be considered.


What Your Day Looks Like as a BDR:

  • Proactively engaging with prospects via phone email and LinkedIn messaging and record activity in CRM software
  • Building quality lists and conducting research on targeted companies and contacts
  • Partnering with Account Executives to develop specific industries as desired leads call specific targeted accounts and building relationships with key decision makers
  • Qualify outbound and inbound leads to provide Account Executives with better qualified opportunities to present formal sales presentation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the Sales team through effective communication and periodic follow-up
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly quota goals
  • Regularly testing and innovating sales techniques and strategies for securing new accounts
  • Learning and building upon knowledge of FRSecure and our service offerings
  • Actively practice handling objections and effectively communicating the organizations value
  • Creating effective sequences and marketing based material
Requirements

The Skills and Experience We Look For in a BDR:

  • Currently pursuing (or have obtained) a Bachelors degree in Business Sales or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior sales marketing or customer service preferred
  • Motivated by results takes initiative and driven to succeed
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and an active listener who takes a genuine interest in client needs and goals
  • Comfortable initiating conversations especially in person or over the phone
  • Adaptable through challenges and when facing rejection


Salary: FRSecure believes in and operates with equitable hiring practices. The starting base salary for our BDRs is $50000 annually ($24.04/hour) not including any bonus incentive commission or benefits. Average annual on target earnings (OTE) is between $50000-$65000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the defined salary range for the position across the United States. Within the range pay offered is determined by a variety of factors that include but are not limited to job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
