Bookkeeper - Full-Time Richardson TX
Are you a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with a passion for numbers and accuracy Join our team and help support our clients with expert financial recordkeeping!
What Youll Do:
Maintain and update financial records for multiple clients
Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare and post journal entries
Generate financial statements and reports for CPA review
Assist with payroll processing and related filings
Support tax preparation by organizing financial data
Communicate with clients to obtain necessary financial information
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Perform other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring:
Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (preferred)
Experience: 2 years of bookkeeping experience (CPA firm required)
Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online & Desktop) and other accounting software
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP & financial principles
Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail problem-solving and organizational abilities
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently
Client Communication: Strong interpersonal and client service skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with payroll processing & sales tax reporting
Knowledge of accounting software like Xero Sage or similar platforms
Familiarity with tax preparation software (e.g. Lacerte Drake ProSeries)
