A Day in the Life
EOC is the main Medtronic warehouse and distribution hub for the EMEA region. Additional service activities are grouped within the Value-Added-Services team as part of the EMEA Deliver organization.Within the VAS team we can offer you an exciting job. Gaining expertise within a team of inspired and enthusiastic professionals. Working with high level of ownership in your control area. Being for each other in an open inclusive and diverse team. You will report to the VAS E2E manager and work in the Heerlen 2 DC location. Business travel is limited to max 10% of your time.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Translating forecast & demand volume of multiple Operating Units into material requirements plan
- Purchasing of raw materials and warehouse supplies at internal and external suppliers
- Prepare and participate in regular performance reviews with our suppliers
- Participating in New Product Introduction projects to prepare timely launch readiness for EMEA VAS
- Escalation and guidance whenever needed to the Deliver and Supply Chain teams
- Hands on attitude to meet departmental KPIs and goals defined
- Safety and quality awareness being part of your core behaviors
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Materials handling
- Purchasing
- End to end supply chain processes
- Usage of SAP or other ERP systems
- Dutch and English lingual
