Hours: 32.5 hours per week term time plus 2 inset days

Salary: Grade 3 and scale 5-7 13.26 - 13.69 per hour (Full time equivalent 25583 - 26403) actual salary 19048 -19658

We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant and friendly Nursery. This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and caring professional to play a key role in supporting our youngest learners helping them to thrive and reach their full potential.

About the Role

• Working under the guidance of the Nursery Lead/Class Teacher you will:
• Deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Create a warm engaging and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Plan implement and evaluate a stimulating programme of activities tailored to the needs of individual children.
• Operate as a key worker observing and recording childrens progress and maintaining strong positive relationships with families.
• Promote the ethos and values of Norton Hill Primary School contributing to a culture of teamwork professionalism and child-centred practice.
• Ensure the safety wellbeing and safeguarding of all children in your care.

About You

We are seeking someone who is:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Passionate about early childhood development and learning through play.
• Skilled at building nurturing relationships with children colleagues and parents.
• Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and confident in applying it in daily practice.
• Committed to professional growth teamwork and continuous improvement.
