Overview
Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference.
As a Volunteer Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live youll work with people who use our services helping them get to where they want to be.
Responsibilities
With this role youll be working as part of Individual Placement Support Team based in Kirklees.
The team supports people with drug and/or alcohol issues to gain and sustain employment and engage with local employers to find roles suited to the service users preference.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual so being flexible curious and a good listener are key.
We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and return for the time you give you will receive valuable training and gain experience and skills. Youll be making a real difference too.
