Role Overview

We are seeking DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analysts to join ourcybersecurity team in Porto. This role is ideal for professionals who arepassionate about data protection IT risk management and DLP Analyst will be responsible for monitoring investigating andimproving the efficiency of data loss prevention systems ensuring the highestlevel of data security and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Monitorand assess DLP alerts generated by the system based onpredefined Level 1 criteria across multiple environments.

Analyzeand review daily DLP events escalating cases to Level 2 whendeeper analysis is required.

InvestigateLevel 2 alerts to confirm and assess potential data leakageincidents.

Identifyvulnerabilities and suggest improvements to enhance the DLPmonitoring systems efficiency.

Collaboratewith control managers to review detection rules and manageanomalies or false positives.

Recommendbest practices and assist in refining detection strategies tooptimize DLP performance.

Supporttesting and validation of new DLP policies and configurations.

Coordinatepolicy updates and documentation for DLP processes.

Monitorcompliance and backlog follow-up ensuring entities adhere toDLP procedures.

Generatemonthly reports and dashboards on DLP performance and securitytrends.

Manageonboarding and configuration of new entities or environmentswithin the DLP platform.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science CybersecurityInformation Systems or related fields.

Up to 3years of experience in cybersecurityIT risk management or data protection roles.

Familiarity with DLP tools and monitoring systems(e.g. Symantec Forcepoint Microsoft Purview DLP).

Strong understanding of information security principlesand data protection best practices.

Analytical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy detail and continuousimprovement.

Languages

English:Expert (mandatory)

French:Advanced (preferred)

Strong analyticalthinking and attention to detail.

Excellent oraland written communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in teamenvironments.

Capacity to adapt and support organizational change.

Skilled in synthesizing complex informationand presenting it clearly.
