Main purpose of the position:

Become part of our new ISS Finance Service Center office in Gdańsk. We are planning to expand massively within upcoming couple months thats why we encourage you to apply.

We will give you the opportunity to develop in the selected area of Purchase to Pay such as Transaction Processing Cash & Payment Account Management.

As ISS Finance Service Center we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (R2R) Customer billing banking & reporting (O2C) and Accounts Payables activities (P2P). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the offer of provided services along with a wider scope of PTP activities.

What will you do:

• Provide expert guidance on end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) processes ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency across all transactions.
• Review and validate complex or escalated invoices payments and vendor reconciliations across systems (e.g. Coupa Navision)
• Oversee vendor master data governance and maintenance ensuring accuracy completeness and policy compliance.
• Analyze and resolve payment discrepancies workflow bottlenecks and integration issues between AP and procurement systems (Coupa Navision etc.).
• Monitor AP reports such as vendor open items debit balances and aging reports identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
• Support month-end closing activities including accruals reversals and vendor account reconciliations.
• Oversee employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card management ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance Procurement and Operations to improve invoice-to-pay processes and enhance automation.
• Manage escalated vendor disputes and ensure timely policy-compliant resolution.
• Lead process standardization documentation and continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function.
• Conduct knowledge sharing and training sessions for AP teams on process changes compliance and system enhancements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by ensuring documentation accuracy and readiness for review.

Professional skills you possess:

• A university degree preferably in finance and accounting or the last year of studies
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance area
• Good understanding of PTP / Accounts Payable area.
• Knowledge of Polish accounting principles and local tax requirements will be considered a strong plus but not essential.
• Experience of working with Coupa/Navision/SAP would be advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience in coordination of the team/project would be advantageous.
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
