Position Overview:

The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs routine and complex analytical procedures recognizes deviations and provides interpretation following established laboratory standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-complexity diagnostic testing across hematology chemistry immunology or microbiology.

• Analyze interpret and verify test results ensuring precision and compliance with quality standards.

• Perform and document quality control procedures and equipment calibrations.

• Identify instrument malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting.

• Maintain specimen integrity laboratory documentation and patient confidentiality.

• Provide guidance to less experienced staff and participate in ongoing process improvement.

• Support laboratory inspections audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Experience performing high-complexity testing under CLIA standards.

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and quality assurance processes.

• Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills.
