Introduction
We are seeking System Test Engineer (STE) Intern to join our System Integration Management & Verification group in San Diego Ca. Test implementation is based on risk assessments product requirements and design details. This role will support the release of a well-defined and valid system configuration. Our EUV light source consists of an intricate network of process gases high power lasers optics electronics mechatronics and control systems. You will have the opportunity to interact with all of these components and gain experience with integration engineering. You will learn how to be the key to building a better product though testing issue identification and resolution and identifying potential improvements.
Your Assignment:
Acts as a critical agent for over-all product quality and ensures accurate reporting.
Contributes to the integration planning and Prototype Machine Time test executions.
Works with technical development projects and the Machine Integration Teams (MIT).
Keep System Integration (SI) testing process moving forward and resolves conflicts in real time.
Analyze issues and provide support in the definition prioritization and specific testing for proposed solutions or containments.
Drives projects to secure early risk reduction through pre-integration testing
Business Driver (BD) for SI Issues.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Analyze SI processes and creates proposals for improvement in test queue and issue management
Analyze issue data base to understand correlations between products machines functional clusters. Proposes improvements in test strategies
Analyze issue data base to understand type of issue and validity of test execution (system or bench level testing)
Your Profile:
On track to complete a BS in an Engineering discipline or Physics.
Experience with Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering integration test or technical support of large complex systems.
Minimum 0-1 years of relevant experience.
Multi-Discipline engineering experience a plus.
Analytically strong enthusiastic flexible assertive proactive structured.

The current base annual hourly range for this role is currently $18.00 - $56.00. Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to job-related skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
