As a Cybersecurity Analyst youll strengthen Symbos governance risk and compliance (GRC) capabilities. Youll monitor risks support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while staying ahead of emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and support internal/external audits.
- Monitor compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and privacy laws.
- Analyse data and generate dashboards/reports using tools like Excel or Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain documentation and assist with vulnerability management.
Essential Experience
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity IT or related field.
- 25 years experience in GRC risk management or compliance.
- Familiarity with GRC tools (OneTrust Vanta Drata).
- Knowledge of frameworks: ISO 27001 NIST CSF SOC 2.
- Certifications such as CISA CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are a plus.
Technical Skills
- SIEM DLP IAM vulnerability management tools.
- Understanding of privacy frameworks (Privacy Act 1988 GDPR).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA).
