The Role:
Maintenance Diesel Mechanic for Construction Co General Mechanic needed for busy 100 employee concrete construction company.
Great position for strong independent worker to run this department and perform all duties necessary to keep fleet in tip top shape.
Must be able to work on fleet of mid sized trucks diesel F550S and some other gas trucks and vehicles. Must be able to fix backhoes forklifts mini exs generators compressors and small tools.
Must have computer skills and be able to order locate and order parts and services.
Perform maintenance on all assets of the company. Keep shop clean stocked and prepared for work.
Organized and structured company seek same qualities in mechanic. Full time Monday thru Friday. Bilingual a plus.

Daily Tasks
- Perform diagnostics and repair of diesel engines
- Conduct routine maintenance on diesel equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are in safe working condition
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid drivers license Class B or A license a Plus
- CLEAN DMV DRUG AND PHYSICAL TESTING
Additional Skills
- Certification in diesel technology
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance
- Great teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work in varied environments and conditions
