Were looking for a Nonprofit Staff Accountant to join our small dynamic finance team. Youll play a key role in keeping our financial records accurate organized and compliantwhile working alongside some of the friendliest people in the business.

What Youll Be Doing:

Prepare monthly financial data including balance sheets profit & loss statements and other reports as part of the month-end close process.
Process journal entries reconcile accounts and analyze data to keep everything in tip-top shape.
Collaborate across departments to track revenues expenses payroll distributions and more.
Assist with internal and external auditscoordinating documents and supporting the Accounting Manager.
Support government filings tax documentation and complex financial reporting.
Help identify and implement accounting controls and procedures to stay compliant with GAAP.
Mentor our accounting clerk and pitch in on special projects.

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or related field.
2 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience is a plus!).
Solid understanding of financial reporting reconciliations and revenue recognition.
Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with care.
