Qrypt is seeking a Hardware Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in the industry and support our team during the Spring 2026 semester. This part-time internship offers flexible hours and a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and testing of Qrypts Quantum Entropy Source hardware. Youll assist with data management and organization of our Windchill tool support hardware testing and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced physicists hardware engineers and software developers.

Internship will be in Germantown MD.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering
Possess a well-rounded academic background
Have a strong understanding of hardware design principles including analog and digital circuit design
Have experience using electronics lab and test equipment such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers and signal generators
Have familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Have excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
Be passionate about technology and willing to learn new things

The hourly pay range for this role is $20 - $25. The actual hourly pay offered may vary based on multiple factors such as qualifications experience transferable skills level of education and other factors permitted by law.
