Job Summary (Miami Valley Hospital - MRI Technologist)
- Perform MRI scans independently utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Operate GE MRI equipment and ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Administer medications and contrast agents as per licensure and scope of practice.
- Coordinate patient flow and manage activities within the Radiology Department.
- Exercise professional judgment to maintain quality and safety standards.
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed by the department.
- Will be fitted for N95 mask (unless PAPR is used) before working on the HRRU unit.
- Work schedule: Monday through Thursday 9:00 PM 7:30 AM (4x10-hour shifts).
- Required to work every other holiday as per department scheduling.
- May have on-call responsibilities as needed.
- Meet minimum requirements: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology BLS (AHA) ARRT and ODH certification.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a large hospital (Level 1 preferred Level 2 accepted); travel experience preferred.
- Must have experience operating GE MRI equipment.
- Adhere to department and hospital policies regarding shift cancellations and contract termination.
- Not eligible for Premier Health employee incentives.
- Responsible for timely submission of required documentation including application and current Nursys report.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted with initial application; no changes after offer.
