Job Summary
Job Summary (Azure Cloud Engineer):
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Engineering working extensively with Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud architectures following best practices and principles.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools including CI/CD pipelines Azure DevOps and Git.
- Capable of integrating on-premises networks with Azure Cloud (e.g. using ExpressRoute).
- Proficient in implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor Grafana App Dynamics Dyna Trace).
- Experienced in Windows and Linux OS administration including OS patching.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) Azure Backup Azure Networking and firewalls.
- Understanding of PKI infrastructure including certificates encryption keys and authentication protocols.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing Azure environments.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate are a plus.
- Responsible for setting up managing and administering Azure cloud environments ensuring their security performance and compliance.
- Designs and implements highly available multi-region cloud solutions.
- Leads cloud migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
- Manages security access controls and data protection policies for cloud environments.
- Monitors and optimizes cloud performance scalability and security.
