Job Summary

Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Lafayette CO

Duration: 12 months with extensions

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to support Situate (and potentially FT10) projects addressing technical challenges in product development and manufacturing. This position requires in-office presence four days a week and we aim to fill this role before Thanksgiving.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolve end-of-life (EOL) component issues.
Address and resolve customer complaints related to electrical systems or components.
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Research design develop and test electrical components systems and networks.
Design electrical equipment products facilities and systems for commercial industrial and domestic applications.
Deliver and manage assigned projects from design through implementation ensuring adherence to company policies and technical standards.
Provide guidance mentorship and oversight to lower-level professionals as needed.
Recommend process improvements and contribute to enhanced performance in the job area.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
6 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles systems and components.
Practical knowledge of project management is a plus.

Work Arrangement:

In-office four days per week.
