Job Summary

Job Title: Java Architect (AWS Node SQL TypeScript)

Location: Hybrid (CA TX NJ NY or MO)
Employment: Contract role

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Java Architect with strong skills in AWS SQL and TypeScript to design and lead the development of scalable secure and high-performing applications. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture standards ensure best practices and guide development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement application architectures using Java and AWS cloud services.
Integrate and TypeScript components into backend solutions.
Define database structures and optimize performance using SQL.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Lead code reviews ensure adherence to architectural principles and mentor technical teams.
Create technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

8 years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda EC2 S3 RDS etc.).
Proficiency in TypeScript and SQL database design.
Experience with microservices RESTful APIs and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
Strong problem-solving communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

Experience with Spring Boot Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with serverless architecture and API Gateway.
