JOB TITLE: Sr. Aircraft Structures Mechanic Rapid Response
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $57/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 1st Shift

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Assemble install and inspect precision structural components and systems.
Use shop math blueprints and precision measuring tools to complete assignments.
Operate tooling and equipment to build subassemblies or end items.
Verify work meets specifications and document discrepancies per procedure.
Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure tool/equipment certification compliance.
Move products within the manufacturing area and maintain workflow efficiency.
Support continuous production by assisting and training other mechanics.
Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
Operate conventional and/or CNC fastening equipment as needed.
Drill out and install rivets in skin panels.
Squeeze rivets for interior structures.
Remove and install Hi-Loks.
Perform cuts and splices.
Pull holes as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
Must pass the plate test.
1st shift position (schedule may vary based on business needs).
Immediate start preferred.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
