Summary:
-
Manufacture various composite aircraft parts to meet production specifications in a team-oriented environment.
-
Demonstrate competency in required manufacturing skills as outlined in the Employee Effectiveness Review.
-
Read and interpret work orders blueprints sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
-
Use specialized tools and precision measuring devices (e.g. 6 scale 1 micrometer 6 dial caliper).
-
Inspect and verify all work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to quality inspection.
-
Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets DMTs Crabs PCOs DR/DI).
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area supporting company FOD and 5S programs and adhere to all safety regulations.
-
Participate in and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Minimum of 1 2 years of related composite experience.
-
Proficient in working with composite resins and materials.
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and 6 scales.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Must be willing and able to work any shift as required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
