Position: Distribution Technician

Location: Bedford MA 01730

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM

Responsibilities

Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update Oracle system accordingly.
Place all incoming and outgoing materials including finished goods raw materials and supplies in appropriate staging and storage locations.
Prepare materials for shipment via all transportation modes (LTL TL ocean rail and airfreight).
Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are entered into the system with accurate records.
Preserve material quality during loading and unloading activities.
Maintain warehouses in a safe clean and presentable condition.
Print and collate shipping documents by order.
Respond to phones and communications with other departments.
Account for material movement and documentation.
Update Oracle system with accurate material data.
Manage placement of incoming and outgoing materials.
Prepare and verify shipments and receipts.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
Handle communications and shipping documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

2 years of warehouse experience.
Inventory control and management experience.
Experience with computer software systems.
Previous licensing on forklifts/electric power jacks.
Willingness to learn and apply relevant skills.
