Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fitter Welder to join a climate-controlled fabrication facility in Tulsa OK. The Fitter Welder will perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals including carbon steel stainless steel aluminum and galveneal. This position requires precision consistency and a strong understanding of welding techniques in a fast-paced production setting.

Test Requirements

MIG welding on Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel required.
TIG welding on Carbon Steel Stainless Steel & Aluminum required.
Fitter / Welder experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding symbols to complete projects accurately.
Fit and weld metal components using MIG and TIG processes according to design specifications.
Work with carbon steel stainless steel aluminum and galveneal materials to fabricate high-quality assemblies.
Conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Collaborate with the production team to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean organized and safety-compliant workspace.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional in-shop welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measuring tools.
Welding certifications preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
