Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust backend services using FastAPI and/or Django REST Framework
- Develop and maintain scalable APIs for financial and AI-powered modules
- Implement data processing pipelines and integrations with external systems (accounting payments analytics)
- Manage databases and caching layers (PostgreSQL Redis)
- Ensure code quality reliability and performance through testing and code reviews
- Work closely with product and frontend teams to define and deliver features
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or Django REST Framework
- Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and API design
- Experience with Docker CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment (AWS GCP or Azure)
- Familiar with AI integrations or data workflows (OpenAI LangChain etc.)
- Familiarity with asynchronous Python or microservice architectures
- Great communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
- Based in Europe (2h CET)
