Job Overview
The Graphic Designer at the American Association is responsible for creating high-quality visual content that supports the organizations brand educational programs events and marketing initiatives. This role involves working across digital and print platforms to design engaging and effective materials that communicate the Associations mission and enhance its public image. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design a good understanding of branding and the ability to deliver creative solutions/materials under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Visual 2D Content Creation: Design marketing materials including flyers brochures banners social media graphics presentations and advertisements.
Brand Identity: Maintain and ensure consistent application of the Associations visual identity and branding guidelines across all materials.- Design social media posts and marketing materials for platforms like Facebook Instagram.
* Create layouts for e-magazines flyers brochures and other print materials.
Create logos.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Digital Design: Develop digital assets for websites email campaigns online courses and social media platforms.
Print Design: Prepare and finalise print-ready files for events signage publications and promotional materials.
Content Collaboration: Work closely with marketing educational and event teams to develop visuals that align with communication goals and content strategy.
Creative Input: Contribute ideas and creative direction for campaigns events and internal projects.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Photography & Editing: Support basic photo editing and retouching as needed; coordinate with photographers or stock resources when required.
Video Support (optional): Assist with basic video editing and animation for promotional or educational content if applicable.
Strong eye for graphic designs.
