Job Location: Milpitas CA

Rate: $48/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Technician with a strong hands-on background in rack stacking hardware troubleshooting and data center equipment setup. This role is responsible for deploying maintaining and optimizing high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure including compute networking and storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rack stack installation mount servers storage and networking gear; manage cabling labeling and power distribution.
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across compute (CPU/GPU) networking (Ethernet/InfiniBand) and storage systems (RAID SSD and parallel file systems).
Replace and configure failed components such as drives switches or processors.
Conduct performance testing and ensure optimal data center operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of system setups hardware changes and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with engineers to support new deployments and system upgrades.

Qualifications:

5 years of hands-on experience in data center hardware deployment and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of server architecture networking protocols and storage systems.
Familiarity with Linux OS and basic command-line operations.
