Registered Nurse ED Opportunity:

Full-time permanent position
Day Shift Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts / week
Rotating Weekends required
Settings: Emergency Department

Registered Nurse ED Responsibilities:

Registered Nurse ED will be working closely with an EMT or CNA each shift and would have support from nurses from neighboring units
Registered Nurse ED assesses the patient on admission in accordance with hospital policies and procedures and unit-specific standards
Communicates pertinent patient information and unit information to medical providers house supervisor and other appropriate persons while maintaining client confidentiality
Registered Nurse ED administers therapeutic injections venipuncture or other IV therapies performs blood pressure checks inhalation therapy catheterization dressing changes and other procedures within the scope of nursing practice and as ordered by the provider

Registered Nurse ED Requirements:

RN License
BLS ACLS PALS and TNCC certification required by start date
NRP Certification preferred
2 years of ER experience required
