Gastroenterologist opportunity in Nashville Tennessee

Wonderful opportunity to work closely with other healthcare professionals including primary care physicians surgeons and dietitians to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care in a community hospital setting level 3 trauma with 560 full-time employees.

About the Position:

• Join 1 Physician and 4 APP Practice
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient history.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies colonoscopies and biopsies.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results to guide treatment decisions.
• Manage chronic gastrointestinal conditions including inflammatory bowel disease liver disease and gastrointestinal cancers.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care including patient education on procedures and lifestyle modifications.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses treatment options and expected outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to enhance patient management.

Clinical Research and Education:

• Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to advancements in gastroenterology.
• Stay updated on the latest research techniques and advancements in the field of gastroenterology.
• Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents fellows and other healthcare professionals.
